Warsaw is a mixture of old and new in terms of architecture. Many buildings were destroyed during World War II and a massive ghetto for detaining Jews occupied a large part of the city. This has now been torn down with only a wall or two remaining as a monument and reminder. We arrived after a long day of travel. A quick freshen up in our hotel then off to the convent "Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy" for a beautiful Mass. Afterwards a HUGE and delicious dinner of local flavor at "Magat". Just what these weary travelers needed. A taste of the local brew with fellow pilgrims, the off to a good night sleep.
